Glaucoma Services

Glaucoma is often called the "silent thief of sight" — it damages the optic nerve slowly and without warning, leading to permanent vision loss if left untreated. At Foresight, we take glaucoma seriously. Through early detection, modern imaging, and minimally invasive treatments, we help protect and preserve your vision before it’s too late. Whether you’re at risk or already diagnosed, our team is here to guide you with expertise and care.

Early Detection

Early detection is the key to saving sight. Glaucoma typically has no symptoms in its early stages, which is why regular eye exams are crucial — especially if you're over 40, have a family history, or suffer from conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure. At Foresight, we use advanced screening tools to measure eye pressure, check the optic nerve, and monitor subtle changes long before vision is affected.

MIGS & iStent Explained

We specialize in Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) — a safer, gentler way to reduce eye pressure. One of the most effective tools we use is the iStent, a microscopic implant that improves fluid drainage and lowers pressure inside the eye. It can often be done along with cataract surgery, offering two-in-one vision protection. MIGS offers quicker recovery, fewer complications, and a better quality of life for glaucoma patients.

Visual Field / OCT Technology

Monitoring glaucoma means keeping a close eye on your optic nerve and field of vision. Our clinic is equipped with the latest Visual Field Testing to map any blind spots or vision loss, and OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) to scan and track changes in the optic nerve fiber layer. These non-invasive tools allow us to catch and respond to disease progression early — so you stay ahead of glaucoma, not the other way around.
